Raw Banana/Vazhakai is one vegetable that mostly takes the form of this roast in my kitchen.At times when lemon rice was on the menu, I sometimes pair it up with this roast which makes a perfect combo. This is not a deep fried version just with a tbsp of oil you can make this roast.

Ingredients:
- Raw Banana /Vazhakai-1
- Red chilly powder-1 Tsp
- Turmeric powder-1\2tsp
- Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
- Rice flour-2 Tsp
- Salt to toast
- Oil- t tbsp
- Curry leaves
Method:
1.Peel the skin and chop the raw banana into semi circle shape.Keep it immersed in water to avoid discoloration.
2.In a mixing bowl add in chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt, rice flour, ginger garlic paste, and mix.
3.Add the drained pieces and mix well for the masala to coat it.Keep it for few minutes.
4.Heat oil in a wide pan and keep these pieces and shallow fry it, Add some curry leaves.
5.Roast it on both sides till crispy.
Serve as side dish for rice with rasam or sambar or pack for lunch box.
