Ghee rice is one of the easiest rice type one can make and it suits with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian gravies.Try this easiest version
Method:
1.Heat ghee , fry cashew and onion(if using) and keep it aside.Wash rice and keep ready.
2.In the same pan add 2 tbsp ghee and add all the whole spices saute for a while.then and onion and saute till it becomes translucent.
3.Then add the cleaned drained rice and fry for awhile.Meanwhile boil some water and keep ready.
4.After 5 mins of sauteing add 2 cups boiling water and salt to it.
5.Cover and cook in low- medium flame till all water evaporates.
Garnish with fried cashew and onions.Serve with any curry of ur choice.
We had it with paneer mattar masala,it was superb.
Note:
1.Never add cool water.
