Creamy Gravy with Baby corn&Carrot | Side dish for Roti/Naan

Do you love creamy masala/gravy then u am sure you will definitely like this masala too.Nowadays i have started to prepare different gravy/masala for chappati/roti.My daughter loves it very much,do give a try .



Preparation time-15 mins
cooking time-30 mins.
serves-3 to 4

Ingredients:


  • Baby corn-7
  • Carrot-2(medium sized)
  • Onion,chopped-1 big
  • tomato-1 big, pureed
  • Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
  • Kashmiri chilly powder-1 tsp
  • coriander powder- 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder-1\2 tsp
  • Garam masala-1\2 tsp
  • Salt-to taste
  • Oil-1 tbsp


To Grind:

  • Cashew nuts-10 to 12
  • Milk-1\3 cup





Method:

1.scrap the outer of carrot and clean well.cut into 4 cm long strips and microwave it for 3 minutes with some water(you can even cook it in gas top).

2.Clean the baby corn and cut them.chop everything and keep ready.Grind cashew with milk to a fine paste.

3.Heat oil and saute onion till it becomes translucent.Add ginger garlic paste and saute,followed by tomato puree and all masala to it.




4.Then add the cooked carrot and baby corn.Check for salt.Add the ground paste with little water and cook till everything blends well.



Garnish and serve with roti/naan.
