Mini Kozhukattai (Video recipe)


Mini kozhukattai
Kozhukattai will be mostly everyone's favourite. my daughter, son too like it. I mostly make it an evening snack only. This is very easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • Rice flour
  • Salt
  • Hot water

To temper:

  • Oil
  • Mustard
  • Urad dal
  • coconut grated
  • Hing-1 tsp
  • curry  leaves
Method:

1.Sieve the rice flour well.

2.Add salt to the flour and pour boiling water little by little and mix with a wooden ladle until it gathers to a smooth dough.

3.Wait 2-3 min then make small sized balls with it.

4.Steam the balls for 10-12 min or as required. The outer layer will be shiny when done.
cool the kozhukattai.

5.Heat oil in kadai,add mustard,urad dal,hing,curry leaves,saute and then add grated coconut and saute for a while.

6.Carefully add ur mini kozhukattai and give a quick stir and switch off.
